Participatory Partnerships for Community Development (PPCD) organized a two-day on-boarding training workshop for Gbaramatu-Egbema-Ogulagha Coastal Community Front (GEOCCF) on the implementation of Offshore Memorandum of Understanding (OMoU). The training held on 13th and 14th October, 2015 at Kayriott Hotel, Refinery Road, Warri, Delta State with representatives from Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL), Delta State Government, GEOCCF, PPCD, New Nigeria Foundation (NNF) and LITE-Africa.
The objectives were to create awareness on the content of Offshore MoU, build capacity of GEOCCF for effective and efficient implementation of the OMoU, align members of GEOCCF with the objectives and implementation process of the OMoU and create awareness on the role and responsibilities of GEOCCF and other stakeholders in the OMoU process
