The committee met on February 20^th 2014. Some of the key issues discussed include: PBC inauguration in all the RDCs, inclusion of governments’ representatives in the CEMB PBC, the linkage of PBC with other PPCD and RDCs’ committees’ activities to further promote peace, use of RDC committees’ platforms to inform and educate the RDC members on the importance of the Information Collection Systems (ICS) to peace building in the communities, the inclusion of a session on the engagement of RDC members as ‘Peace Ambassadors’ in the Idama On boarding training materials, the review of PPCD 2014 first quarter workplan etc.
